Our Team

Mani is the founder of ASBB Consulting. She is a rural economist and strategist who brings decades of experience to rural development.

Soumaya obtained a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Applied
Mathematics from the École polytechnique de l'Université de
Montréal. She is an experienced survey methodologist and data scientist. Her previous work experience spans Statistics Canada, and Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.

Paula is a trained in political science and sociology at Saint Mary's university in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She specializes in conducting research with a focus on socioeconomic issues such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Youth Development, and issues related to vulnerable groups. She is a trained facilitator. Paula is pleased to call Pubnico a rural community in Southwest Nova Scotia her current home.

Carlos is a graphic designer and art director with a specialization in marketing and design. He is currently based in Toronto, Ontario and directs a wide range of projects.
